Skunks are animals that dwell in the wild and are omnivorous by nature. They tend to eat both meat and vegetation, and basically anything that they find. This is the prime reason why skunks end up around human households in search of food since houses often contain food in excess. While baby skunks are visually very cute and appealing, they can be equally annoying and messy in case one finds a way into your house. So you are better off at a safe distance.
